Situated outside Leicester city, Beaumont Park hosts the DMU football, rugby, American football and lacrosse tournaments. DMU’s 13-metre wall is open to students with basic climbing skills and entails a comprehensive timetable. All students must attend a beginners’ course (stages 1–3 of induction) to be eligible to access the wall. This course comprises up to 3 sessions of 90 minutes each and enlightens students about the basics of climbing, together with the do’s and don’ts. Students must also fill up a registration form before accessing the wall.
